Asphalt reinforcement
During the month of November 2022, the asphalt pavement was reinforced in several streets in the city of Lleida, in the autonomous community of Catalonia, where we found a fractured rigid concrete pavement.
Project Description
Situation
The concrete pavement showed severe cracking and fatigue.
Solution
The solution was to install S&P Carbophalt G and then a 4 cm layer of Hot Mix asphalt on top. As of March 2025, these streets remain in perfect condition, with no cracks or reflections from the expansion joints of the concrete slabs.
