Asphalt reinforcement
During the month of February, the asphalt road surface was reinforced in the industrial estate of Puzol, in the Valencian Community.
Project Description
Situation
The pavement of the industrial estate showed severe fatigue cracks due to the exhaustion of the pavement under the loads of the lorries.
Solution
The solution adopted consisted of placing the S&P Glasphalt G asphalt reinforcement grid on the previously milled and primed sections of pavement in long, overlapping partial sections, occupying the entire road width. Subsequently, a 5 cm wearing course of Hot Mix asphalt was laid on top.
