Efficient and safe from raw material to installation
The production and preparation of our products requires resources and generates various emissions. In order to keep the impact on the environment as low as possible, we are constantly working to minimise the consumption of resources, as well as preventing or reducing the emissions in the first place.
Production
Our production facilities and buildings in Europe are state-of-the-art and regularly maintained. Furthermore, we rely on high-quality raw materials for our products to ensure very high quality and a long service life. This enables us to keep material consumption, rejects and emissions for people and the environment as low as possible. Wherever possible, we return scrap material to the production process or recycle it in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Energy
On the roof of our headquarters in Seewen (Switzerland) is a 670 m² photovoltaic system with an output of 98 kWp. When it was commissioned in 2011, it was one of the largest plants of its kind in the entire region. We produce about 95000 kWh of electricity per year, which more than covers our own needs and reduces CO2 emissions.
In addition, our entire building is equipped with modern and energy-saving LED lights. For heat generation, we operate a gas heating system that is fired with climate gas. This means that the natural gas we use is 100% CO2 compensated.
