The S&P C-Anchor is an advanced anchoring element made of carbon fibres, specially developed by S&P to fulfil the high requirements of shear reinforcement. The S&P C-Anchor combines innovative material technology with precise design. It consists of a pre-cured rebar section and a flexible fan section, which together ensure high load-bearing capacity and reliability.

The pre-cured composite rebar of the S&P C-Anchor ensures increased strength and resistance to mechanical loads. It also enables efficient and, in particular, high-quality processing on the construction site. The flexible fan section ensures optimum distribution of forces.

The S&P C-Anchor is ideal for anchoring shear reinforcement in concrete structures, especially in combination with the S&P C-Sheet 240 carbon fibre fabric. It is anchored in the concrete slab or compression zone, providing a durable and corrosion-free solution. Depending on the configuration utilised, the lever arm can be extended with the use of the S&P C-Anchor. This configuration enables effective utilisation of the reinforcement as well as optimum load transfer and anchoring. Other features of the shear reinforcement solution with the carbon anchor include:
