Solution

The heavily damaged asphalt surface of the cantonal road, which is about 10 metres wide, was rehabilitated in one stage. According to the rehabilitation concept, the surface layer was milled off by 6 cm. On the main axis, the transverse and longitudinal cracks were covered with the 0.97 m wide S&P Glasphalt G asphalt reinforcement grid. In the upper part of the turn-in from Oberhasli, the reinforcement was laid over the entire surface because of the many cracks that were present. To prevent the reinforcement from being torn open by the trucks rolling over it, the contractor covered the reinforcement with fine asphalt and rolled it. The pavement was then laid.
