Reinforcement of several floors in an apartment complex, this old office building is now a beautiful apartment complex. Before this end result was achieved the complete building had to be stripped and reinforced.
Increasing the bending strength.
As a tension tie, over the entire span of various floor surfaces, an amount of diameter 32 mm rods was actually necessary. Because this was not possible to achieve this, due to the too short concrete cover, carbon rods with a diameter of 14 mm were used. By changing steel to carbon, we could perform the reinforcement measure on/in the top of the floor.
