S&P ARMO-mesh®

Reinforcement mesh

S&P ARMO-mesh® is a unidirectional or bidirectional carbon-fibre mesh with high strength for structural reinforcement of thin-walled structures. The S&P ARMO-mesh® is applied using the reactive mortar ARMO-crete® in a dry lay-up or wet lay-up application process. For seismic strengthening of historical masonry, the shotcrete S&P ARMO-mur (based on lime mortar) should be applied.

ARMO-axial

ARMO-axial is a design software for reinforcement of centrally loaded concrete columns by wrapping S&P ARMO-System (FRP grid-reinforced shotcrete). ARMO-axial may be used for preliminary and final design of structural reinforcement. For a known axial force, the software calculates the required layers wrapping with the S&P ARMO-System.

ARMO-axial does not check buckling.

ARMO-flexion

ARMO-flexion is a design software for flexural and/or shear reinforcement with S&P ARMO-System (FRP grid-reinforced shotcrete). ARMO-flexion may be used for preliminary and final design of structural reinforcement. For known bending moments and shear forces, the software calculates the required layers of S&P ARMO-System.

Installation Instructions

Application

Depending on the mortar application (wet lay-up or dry lay-up process), the ARMO-mesh® reinforcement is either embedded, wet-in-wet, in the mortar, or fixed onto the first shotcrete layer using special Inox staples. In both versions, the reinforcement must be covered in accordance with the specific requirements and regulations.
